Oh no! how? Ring Sony? There pretty good with stuff like that, i wouldnt be surprised if they sent you one back.

I got the YLOD (Yellow Light of Death), basically when this happens your console instantly turns itself off, when you try to turn it on a yellow light will appear for a second or two followed by a flashing red light. If you get this you're fucked.

I'm on their Continuous Play plan so I should be able to get a replacement. Fortunately I was smart enough to back up my saves so I won't lose much (but I'll lose RE5 completely Sad)

Recently the YLOD has become more frequent with 60GB models (so if you have one back up anything important or you may lose it).

Buy a USB Flash Drive, I got a 4GB one for £5, you can also use a memory stick if you have one.

Unlucky mate. Shouldn't be long before they send your replacement if your on Continuous Play.
