TEC Banner Art

TEC is growing a bit, and as we're planning to recruit soon, I've made a graphic which should hopefully draw more people in, and make the gang seem more official.

The design takes on a more modern style, which I reckon is better suited to our gang as we specialise in organised crime rather than dirty dealings.

If I could have feedback, (especially criticism) I can make improvements. When I've finalised the design we can post this (along with J4's fictional back story) in GTAF and make a name for ourselves.

Wait, i see the picture as almost ALL white, which grey lines/continent/city on my PC, when i viewed on my phone it was all dark and looked a lot better?!?!

Well i've already spoke to Chaos about the GTAF theme aswel & his original design looked the best but wouldnt stand out on the forums. So i think he's going to try a few colours.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but the image is a PNG, and some parts are really quite transparent.

The image will look darker and lighter depending on the background - on a white background it will be invisible.

This was the original colour combo, but Bates pointed out the flaw in like a second, lol, that the purple / blue was a similar shade to the default GTAF background so it would be hard to see in posts.


I'll try different colours to make it a little less monotone.

i actually probabaly prefer the grey and black one

New banner using the TEC colours and a bit of tweaking with opacity levels and stoof.

Which one we use for the banner and improvements that could be made to the design are still up for discussion, so tell me what you think of this one, and if you prefer one of the others instead=)

You can't really see the maps though?

Blue one is the best Cut off the white egdes though mate?

Could the maps have some depth? outta shadow? or drop shadow.. or whatever its called??

Well as we've got the banner art done and dusted, I was thinking of making sigs and ribbons or whatever they're called, to put under your real sig.

Here's one I made quickly based on the art style of the logo:

Tell me what you think, I see some of you are already using this in GTAF.

I'm using this slightly updated one;

In which I tried to make more of an indented effect.

Use which one you like, I don't delete any of my uploads so if you're using the same link you found in my sig you don't have to worry bout it turning into a "user posted image". I'll probably update further depending on feedback, and it's not compulsory to use of course, just helps with spreading the name .

Also, I'll do resized versions on request if anyone needs it smaller or bigger in order to stay within the sig limitations.

I like orignal one myself. Looks like there's more of an Indent on the page due to the white effect of lighting. Your really good at this stuff aye!
